Annadiva takes next step with BIF
In addition to Fruitfunk's fruit snacks and Deliverybike's electric (delivery) bicycles, the Bosch Investment Fund (BIF) is now also investing in lingerie specialist Annadiva. Based on her own experience with the lack of lingerie shops for larger cup sizes, Mariëlle van Werven founded Annadiva in 2011, and the company has since experienced major growth. It now has a turnover of several million. But the company's hunger is not yet satisfied and the investment of BIF is used for the development of its own lingerie line.
Initially,Annadiva was only an online shop. Later, shops were opened in 's-Hertogenbosch and Nijmegen. The Bossche company is also active in Germany and market leader in the Netherlands and Belgium, with most of its revenue coming from online sales.
Anno 2019 the Bossche company is about to make a new step. Annadiva has started developing its own lingerie line in large cup sizes. Mariëlle van Werven founder of Annadiva says: "With our own line we increase the choice in lingerie for women with a large cup size. We want to offer a product with a good price-quality ratio that is also beautiful.
Besides the investment in euros, BIF also offers the expertise and coaching of the (former) entrepreneurs. Maddy Goossens, an entrepreneur who has been active in retail for many years and is now one of BIF's investors: "Apart from launching our own brand, there are various other possibilities for further growth of Annadiva. When making these strategic considerations, it is nice to be able to sound out the situation." Alderman for economic affairs Jan Hoskam: "I am delighted that the company, which currently employs around 30 people in 's-Hertogenbosch, is getting an extra boost with the investment."
The transaction was guided by Marieke Klaassen of Florijnz Corporate Finance from 's-Hertogenbosch.
